I'm a live in caretaker for a wonderful lady. I have my own room and bathroom but she prefers that I sleep in her bed, so I do. Being with her 24/7 (her family is VERY accommodating, when I need coverage, however), I am getting anxiety not have a second of the day alone. Even if I sneak out of the room, after she falls asleep, it doesn't take long for her to notice. Nights like tonight, where her sundowners were extreme, I am beyond exhausted. Help!

Wow, I applaud you for doing that, because even most family caregivers have time off! Have you thought about an adult day care community? You could bring her there for a few hours every day and actually get some time off! As important as a job as you have, you still need time to yourself!
