Part 1: I'm in my 20s and caring for a loved with dementia and probable depression ( her husband of over 60 years passed away last fall). She has a daughter who lives very close by but doesn't handle her mother's illness well. So I decided to move in be as much of a caregiver as I could be- but I'm so scared that something's going to go wrong. I work so she's home by herself during the day. I try to make sure she's set up with breakfast but there's no guarantee she eats beyond that or stays-

Hi, this sounds like a complicated question since this was part 1, but she probably shouldn’t be home alone, especially with depression added on. I also am concerned that you’re taking all of this on? Are you the Power of Attorney?
